 Welcome to the website of Carlyle Outdoors and Angling Promotions! My name is Mark Carlyle and I am passionate about fishing. For the first 20-years of my fishing life, my folks, siblings, and I fished primarily for bluegills, sunfish, crappies, bass, and northerns. According to dear old Dad, these were the easiest fish to catch and eat, but not to release. Over the last 20-plus years, I have been fishing primarily for walleye, sauger, and saugeye. Most of these fish were caught and released, with the occasional fish kept for shore lunch or dinner. I started Carlyle Outdoors and Angling Promotions to share and promote my knowledge of fishing through instructional sessions such as kids fishing clinics, seminars, and guided trips. You will learn about the different techniques and the type of equipment used to catch fish. Over the years, I have had a chance to fish several local and national walleye tournament circuits. These circuits have helped me to further hone my fishing skills and now I have chance to share them with you. So as my favorite quote says above ….‘ Explore. Dream.
